Your viewpoint please. . .
OK, folks, I am back to the blog. There is something I wanted to do a little write-up about, but I need your help.
What do you think (Biblically and from your own observations) makes a godly woman? You can post your answers here under "comments" or you can email me if you want your thoughts to be unpublished. I am interested in your thoughts, as I have formulated a few of my own. :) After I get some feedback, I'll do a full-length entry on the subject.
So ladies (and gentlemen), what do you think?

You need only to look in the mirror for the answer to your question.
Alan, I knew you were going to say something like that. Unfortunately, it is NOT TRUE. Can you offer something a little more helpful? It would be trageeeec if all my blog readers turned out like me. :D
A woman after God's heart - if you make your focus on Christ, the rest comes with.
(It should, anyhow!)
Heather, you're a very nice, discerning person.
Hey Heather! It's so good to see you back to blogging :D
When I thought of a real-life example of a godly woman, there's one that popped into my mind instantly. (not to say I know only one... she's just the first one that came to mind ;)) And so drawing from my personal experience of being with her, I have to say that honestly what makes her a godly woman is the God she serves, obviously ;)... We're nothing close to godly apart from the Blood of Christ. And I think that fact is the basis of her life. Seeing the fruit of her life, I know the peace and joy she exhibits is not just a front.
Hmm... not sure if that entirely answeres your question, but I did want to add that I agree with what the others said... Look in the mirror (that was cute, Alan :D), being focused on Christ (DEFINITELY), and the application of Proverbs 31.
Blessings to you! (((hugs)))
Dear Heather,
The qualities that define a godly woman are the same ones that are found in a godly man or a godly child- gender or age make no difference. A couple of the most important ingredients are these:
--Absolute and total surrender to God, and to whatever His will might be. This includes a decision to give up anything and everything to fulfill that Will, regardless of the personal cost.
--A vitally real walk with a holy God: i.e. actively pursuing an intimate relationship with Him by secret prayer, and learning to know Him through His word.
I hope this helps! Let us pursue Christ!
Sincerely,
A friend
Mirroring The Fruits of the Spirit and living a life resembling 1Cor. 13 are challenges I seek to follow as a woman aspiring to be godly.
Overall, I think so much of it comes down to attitude and a true reflection of character. They say what you are at your worst, is who you REALLY are. I wish that wasn't true but the older I get, the more I believe it's the truth.
Great question to post. And I too am glad you hadn't left your blogging streaks in the last year. I hope you continue to keep it up.:)
